chief mackey was born and raised in the city of los angeles and is a 33-year veteran of the department. chief barrera joined the fire department in november 2004 where she served as the assistant chief and chief of the financial management division. chief barrera and her husband live in rosemead and are proud to reside in a city served by the los angeles county fire department. acting deputy fire chief mike inman is a 35-year veteran of the los angeles county fire department. he also held the positions of operations branch director and operations section chief on the cal fire type 1 imt for 10 years and worked in various positions on los angeles county imts since 1998. chief inman is a qualified incident commander t-3, operations section chief t-1, safety officer, and division supervisor.
